From satoshis to shibes
Bitcoin Ordinals arrived in late 2022 and early 2023 by letting users inscribe data directly onto individual satoshis. The idea sparked a burst of collections, art experiments, and fee spikes. More than twenty self-funded global events have taken place with no cancellations and no outside investors.
What DDVegas made visible
DDVegas, held October 15–17, 2025, in Las Vegas, offered a clear snapshot of that continuity. Holders and builders gathered for three days of connection, creativity, and celebration. Recaps and photo galleries later circulated from the weekend, showing the same family-first culture that the project emphasizes online. Public faces including Barkmeta (Christian Barker) and Shibo (David Chaboki) have helped keep the tone constructive and delivery-focused.
In the Dogecoin inscriptions space the collection is widely treated as the leading project. Community sentiment often places it among the strongest ongoing NFT stories of its era, measured by presence rather than short-term charts. Current activity and pricing live on the project marketplace. Past peaks, including a $5,000 all-time high, are history, not today’s floor.
